Two, and more importantly for both new and experienced players, you are looking through the contents of a vastly larger number of packs - and people can and do pass up legendaries, and routinely pass on rares. However, where I'd really disagree is in two places : One, the card rewards from Perfect draft are guaranteed foils, and thus can be dusted for another 200-300 shiftstone, which kind of counters the extra packs from the forge. While your math is more or less correct, you've neglected (as someone mentioned) to include the bonus shiftstone from Draft - though this is mostly countered by the additional packs from doing a double forge. I'd definitely disagree with this assessment. PS: One advantage of Draft is that getting 7 wins means 3D = 6k gold, which means you can do the next draft for free! For top players Draft is much better value than Forge.ĮDIT: Cannot add 2 lines between paras. PS: I know many believe that card quality is better in Draft v/s Forge, if someone has done some analysis please point me to it.įor others, if you can consistently get at least 3 wins do Draft, else do Forge. Hence, Forge = Draft (not a huge difference). This can be useful when we have our basic decks ready and are looking to improving card across all colours, but especially in the start colour focus makes Forge better. In Forge we can focus on colour, helping us to better build our collection as compared to Draft where cards are all over the place. Assuming this:Ģ Forge = 50 cards, while 1 draft = 48 cards. IMO, we are not getting better quality cards in Draft v/s Forge, and it is rather dependent on the pack. Hence, Forge = Draft (marginally Forge is better)Īssuming 5 wins in Forge and 3 wins in Draftįorge: 5 wins give 1G + 2S. Perfect Draft: 7 wins gives 3 diamond chests which is c. So 5K gold gives 3,200 gold + 6 packs = 9,200g Perfect Forge: 7 wins gives 3 gold chests which is c.1,600 gold + 3 packs.
